Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End – Story
Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End is the final addition to the Uncharted Trilogy from Naughty Dog. The series follows Nathan Drake. It has been several years since the Uncharted 3 scenario and Drake is retired. However, he still works as a fortune hunter. He has attempted to begin an ordinary existence with wife Elena Fisher. His tranquil life is uprooted when Sam, his long thought dead elder brother, shows up wanting Drakes assistance. It is not long before Drake and Sam set off to investigate the Libertalia conspiracy. Libertalia was a pirate colony long thought lost and suspected to house a huge treasure. This video game promises to be the biggest adventure and the last.
Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End – Characters
Nathan Drake is the main character in the Uncharted Video Game Trilogy. He puts off the appearance of an average Joe, but there is more to this character than meets the eye. He is strong and focused but has a sense of humor as well. However, he is not a superhero, he is not beyond stumbling when running and fully understands that some of his predicaments are quite absurd. He is both likable and believable.
Elena Fisher, a journalist, is Drakes faithful wife. She is quite resourceful and is often considered as a female replica of Drake himself. She is very smart and tenacious. She too has a sense of humor and is quite capable of handling herself during any scenario. In Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End, she secretly follows Drake on his new journey.
Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End – Weapons
Some of the classic weapons like the Wes-44 and AK-47 will still see action. New pistol additions include the Beretta 8000 Cougar Inox and the Colt Rail Gun/M1911A1 Hybrid. Other Beretta weapons like the 92FS and the 93R Hybrid are also used. Revolvers include the Smith & Wesson Model 629 Classic. Assault Rifles include the SIG SG 556, AKM, IMI Romat and the Ruger AC556. Machine guns include the MP34 and the 61 Skorpion/Micro Uzi Hybrid. The sniper rifle used is an M24 Sniper weapon system.
Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End – Gameplay
Many of the Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End gameplay elements you have come to love still exist in Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End. However, these features have been reworked and improved. This installment takes the player through urban, aquatic and jungle environments. There is still a lot of climbing involved, but now in more detail. Drake is now capable of utilizing a collapsible hook that makes it possible for him to swing from one place to another escape enemy fire. He can now repel down cliffs.
The melee combat features seem to be more exciting because now Drakes attacks can be countered. It is now possible for Drake to conceal himself in bushes increasing his stealth opportunities. In previous games, he had to kill everyone before going stealth, but that has changed. He can still shoot from every position. Objects in the environment can now be destroyed. Sandbags will leak and become useless. The newest gameplay feature includes an option for dialogue, which allows team members to communicate.
