Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark is a third-person strategic game being jointly developed and created by Hasbro, Edge of Reality and published by Activision. It is the third game in the War for Cybertron series and appears to be a companion for the upcoming Transformers film, Transformers: Age Of Extinction. This game is also a sequel to the last game in the War Of Cybertron series, Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron. There is also a 3DS version of the game, which is being developed by WayForward Technologies.
Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark Gameplay
The Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark gameplay seems to be aligned with the event of Transformers: The Age Of Extinction movie and its aftermath. There are over 50 playable characters in the 3DS version, while there are 40 in the console version (PS3, PS4, Xbox One).
The Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark game allows you to choose sides: either with the Autobots, in saving the world, or with the Decepticons, in destroying the world. You can choose from over 18 different characters, including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Grimlock from the Autobots, and Megatron, and Starscream from the Decepticons section. Players will be on the hunt for the elusive Dark Spark, an artefact that can rip the fabric of time and bring two dimensions together; this is how the game’s fiction explains the crossover between Transformers universes.
Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark will take place on the planet Cybertron as well as on Earth.
Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark Characters
There are over 50 playable characters in the 3DS version of Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark and over 40 playable characters in the console version. The leader of the Autobots is, of course, Optimus Prime, while the leader of the Decepticons is Megatron. The list of playable characters Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark are:
Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark – Optimus Prime
Optimus Prime: is the leader of the Autobots, a team of robots defending Earth against their rivals, the Decepticons. He is the last Prime of Cybertron. Optimus generally puts his talents as a leader in improving everything around him. Optimus is a good leader and has led his crew to many victories.
Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark – Bumblebee
Bumblebee: may be small, but he’s brave, and he’s one of the most well-liked Autobots around. Bumblebee already has the respect he craves. Bumblebee is a small, yellow Autobot with the ability to transform into a compact car. Bumblebee is one of the smallest and physically weakest Autobots. While his stature allows him to do his job better than most Autobots could manage, he is self-conscious about his size.
Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark – Megatron
Megatron: is the leader of the Decepticons, the rivals of the Autobots. He is an evil robot bent on destroying the human world and ruling the universe.
Starscream: Formerly a scientist, Starscream is a treacherous, high-ranking Decepticon who turns into a jet and is openly known to want to replace Megatron as the leader of the Decepticons. Starscream is a fictional character in the Transformers franchise. He is one of the most frequently occurring characters in the Transformers fictional work, appearing in almost all incarnations of the story. Starscream is usually portrayed with the same characterization.
Ironhide: Ironhide is the Autobots’ resident weapons specialist and Optimus Prime’s old friend. Ironhide has been a vital part of the transformer series and he is a soldier at heart.
Soundwave: Though “only” Communications Officer, Soundwave stands at Megatron’s side as a confidant, comparable in rank to Starscream and Shockwave, but unlike them, entirely loyal to his leader. Soundwave is one of Megatron’s most reliable troops, and he has positioned himself comfortably and irreplaceably in the Decepticon upper command structure.
Shockwave: Logic rules Shockwave’s thought processes and is the source of his every inspiration. He sees emotion as a weakness and a distraction. His cold and calculating modus operandi is supported by his frightening and exceptionally powerful form. Shockwave has been referred to as “a computer on legs.” This is not far from the truth.
Ratchet: Ratchet is the Autobots’ Chief Medical Officer. Ratchet is known for his irreverent bedside manner; He is not a particularly mighty warrior, which sometimes leads him to believe that he is expendable. His vehicle mode sometimes splits into his robot and a separate component. Although he’s a healer, Ratchet often finds himself on the front lines of combat and, on occasion, the last hope the Autobots have. These pressures are sometimes too much for him to handle, but Ratchet ultimately never gives up.
Jazz: Jazz is usually portrayed as a music-loving robot and speaks in slang. He is also a good friend and the right-hand man of Optimus Prime’s.
Grimlock: Huge and powerful, he is also ego-maniacal, impatient and willful. Grimlock is a wild card among the Autobots. As such Grimlock is more than ready to disobey orders if he thinks the ends will justify the means. He views Optimus Prime as a weak leader, too afraid to make the tough calls and act on instinct.
Drift: Drift was a Decepticon who realized his ruthless ways and joined the Autobots. He exchanged his guns for swords, which he keeps in his hip scabbards, and a legendary Great Sword. He wants everyone, especially the Decepticons, to realise what the war had done to them. For that, he works for the Autobots. There are other Autobots and decepticons as well, who play an important role in the game. Starscream, Megatron’s lieutenant, also plays a vital role in the game.
Transformers The rise of the dark spark will take both grops: Autobots and Megatrons through the fabric of time, through the war-torn past of Cybertron and the primitive time on Earth. This will be because of the Dark Spark- the malevolent counterpart to the Matrix Of Leadership. It is capable of bending the universe to the user’s will.
All in all, Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark will be a new, exciting addition to the already thrilling Transformers saga, and there will always be many more to come.
