DmC: Devil May Cry – Have you heard the news? DmC Devil May Cry will hit the shelves soon, and it’s set to pack a punch in the slash-and-hack/action genre. DMC Devil May Cry is scheduled to be released on PC and PlayStation 3 on January 15th in the U.S.
The DmC Devil May Cry video game was developed by Ninja Theory, and isn’t related to other titles in the series – it’s a reboot. In fact, DmC Devil May Cry features a drastically altered Dante (the main character) and has a very new feel to it. Playing the game, you basically start from scratch as a demon killer, and watch as Dante evolves into a similar version of his classic self.
DmC Devil May Cry – News
You want some more DmC Devil May Cry news? This time, all the action takes place in a parallel reality. Dante finds himself on the twisted streets of Limbo City, a modern town where powerful DmC Devil May Cry demons call the shots and manipulate humanity through worldly comforts. They constantly hunt and attack Dante in DmC Devil May Cry, but using his supernatural powers, he manages to fend them off. At some point during battle, The Order and Dante make a contact. They join forces to kick some demonic butt, which shouldn’t come as news to DmC fans.
DmC Devil May Cry – The Order
The Order, also known as “The Order of the Sword” from Devil May Cry 4, are a religious rebel group determined to free Limbo City from the clutches of demons. The leader is Vergil, the half angel who is also Dante’s estranged twin brother. Dante and The Order share a hatred for devilish and demonic type creatures, and the reason they recruit him is because he possesses a unique gene that allows him to destroy demons. As Dante battles together with The Order, he learns of his past and comes across other news.
DmC Devil May Cry – Hideki Kamiya
Hideki Kamiya – this is the man behind all the Devil May Cry games. Hideki Kamiya is something of a hero to fans of the series. He is the artist/game director/visionary who brought the darkness we love so much to Devil May Cry. He also brought us other big games, such as Viewtiful Joe and Resident Evil. What may come as DmC Devil May Cry News, though, is that he isn’t the man behind the latest Devil May Cry video game. Hideki Kamiya still has ties with Capcom, but Ninja Theory are the guys responsible for this DmC reboot.
DmC Devil May Cry – Mechanics
The DmC Devil May Cry Mechanics have improved since previous games. Since DmC has a different developer, certain gameplay aspects have also inevitably changed. For instance, in DmC Devil May Cry, two additional combat modes are now available to you – Angel Mode and Demon Mode; these are easily triggered. New weapons have also been introduced, which is more good news. While there has been a mixed response by diehard Devil May Cry fans, DmC Devil May Cry on PlayStation 3 is sure to keep you entertained as you unleash your mystical powers and hack through scores of evil monstrosities.
