The game of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round has 34 characters in it. It is revolved around several stories and the story lines are centered on a chase for weapon that has been cloned from Kasumi. Owing to this story line, players try to involve all the characters to get them into the interactive multi-level fights Dead or Alive series has gained popularity for.
Some of the more popular characters are:
Kasumi – The main protagonist in the series, she is one of the original characters and has come to be known as the mascot of the series. A runaway Shinobi and ex-member of the Mugen Tenshin Ninja Clan, Kasumi wins the first tournament.
Ryu Hayabusa – A superior Shinobi, Ryu Hayabusa is a star of the Ninja Gaiden series and then became a character consistently for the Dead or Alive game series.
Alpha-152 – She is a clone of Kasumi and the final boss as she is a powerful inhuman fighter.
Nyotengu – Older to many characters, Nyotengu is a female tengu. Owing to her good figure, creamy and pale skin, she looks much younger than her age. She also has a small mark on her left chin and sports small wings. But her personality is portrayed as a loud and haughty one.
Brad Wong – He appears first in Dead or Alive 3 and is master in the Zui Quan style. He is known for his search and liking for the wine ‘Genra’.
Gen Fu – A master of Xinyi Liuhe Quan, Gen Fu is a book store owner but he helps with all the tournaments with an intention to help his granddaughter who is sick. But once she gets a clean bill of health, he stops being a part of the tournaments. He is also the tutor of Eliot.
Eliot – Being the youngest character in the series he tutors under Gen Fu as his apprentice and trains under Xing Yi Quan. He learned the art with devotion and spends a lot of time on training.
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round – Stages
Dead or Alive – A stage which shows the tangible tournament of the story, it has the crowd cheering when the fight takes place. The two screens on each side of the main one is lined with ropes that are electric making a danger zone.
Depth – This is a stage for fighting shown in Dead or Alive 5. It is located inside the MIST lab.
Desert Wasteland – After a huge demand for an uneven level stage the Desert Wasteland was applied in the game. This stage is in a desert and has a large area without danger zones with a staircase.
Dojo – This fighting stage is utilized for training in the entire series of the Dead or Alive game. Dojo is essentially an endless piece of earth without walls or any obstacles in the way. It is enclosed in tatami mats making it the best place to train and exercise.
Ends of The Earth – This one is an endless fighting stage in the game Dead or Alive 5.
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round – Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate
Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate is the extended version of Dead or Alive 5 and can be played on PlayStation and Xbox 360. It has new features and characters in addition to the ones from Dead or Alive 5. It was released in 2013 before being followed by Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.
Dear or Alive 5 Last Round – Team Ninja
Team Ninja fashioned as TEAM NINJA is a game development department of the Japanese company, Tecmo Inc. Primarily producing games for Tecmo, Team Ninja has also created them for Nintendo and Microsoft Game Studios. It created the Dead or Alive game series which quickly rose to popularity along with the Ninja Gaiden series.
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round – Koei Tecmo Games
Koei Tecmo formerly TECMO KOEI is a Japanese game developing and publishing company. It has created several hundred games since its inception as Tecmo. The company rose to popularity with the game series of Ninja Gaiden, Fatal Frame, Dead or Alive, Dynasty Warriors, to name a few.
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round – Graphics
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round has some astounding graphics and the animation was met with applause by the players. The spectacular fights, the mechanics involved as you delve deeper into the gameplay, glitzy stage effects and the striking visuals make it the best entertaining game in the series. While the extraordinary graphics met with wide appreciation, the same cannot be stated for the plot as it was seen as the game’s shortcoming by some critics.
To sum up, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round lives up to its claim of being a fighting entertainment and can be fun for both players who enjoy fighting and who don’t.
