So let’s check out some Call of Duty Black Ops 3 info below to learn more of what this hot new video gaming release has in store for COD fans upon it’s release on November 6th, 2015.
Call of Duty Black Ops III Plot
The year is 2065, and military technology has become so advanced that the only effective way to attack your enemy is through covert operations, known as “Black Ops” among insiders. You are a super soldier; your human abilities have been augmented by robotics so that you can face the challenges of modern (as in 2065) combat. In fact, technological advances have made the line between human and robot increasingly blurry, and there are legitimate fears that robots may take over the world. You and your brothers in arms are on a mission to stop them.
Call of Duty Black Ops III Characters
You play an unnamed super soldier, voiced by Ben Browder or Abby Brammel, depending on the gender you choose for your avatar. Other main characters include Commander John Taylor, Rachel Kane, Sarah Hall, Jacob Hendricks, and Dr. Yousef Salim. Some of the characters in Call of Duty Black Ops III, such as Tank Dempsey, Edward Richtofen, Takeo Masaki, and Nikolai Belinski also appeared in other games in the Call of Duty series. New characters in this installment of the series include Nero, Floyd, Jessica, and Jack.
Call of Duty Black Ops III Gameplay
Call of Duty Black Ops III is a first person shooter game, and it can be played in single player mode or multiplayer mode. The latter mode can accommodate up to four players. Players have a great amount of control over their guns. You can run, slide, and shoot to attack your enemies and stay out of harm’s way. There is less corridor shooting in Call of Duty Black Ops III than in some other FPS games, owing to the open layout of many of the scenes in the game. You can customize your avatar as well as your weapon.
Call of Duty Black Ops III Campaign
During the campaign, which you can undertake alone or with other characters, you can collect tokens to upgrade your weapons, all the while trying to defend yourself against enemies. You have the option to set the game to realistic difficulty, where getting hit with one bullet eliminates you from the campaign.
Call of Duty Black Ops
Call of Duty Black Ops, released in 2010, is a predecessor to Call of Duty Black Ops III. It is one of the best selling video games of all time and can be played on a variety of consoles available from Xbox 360, Nintendo, PlayStation, and Microsoft Windows. The game is set during the Cold War. Its appeal includes its globe-trotting locations; it is a little bit like playing Risk, if Risk afforded you the opportunity to blast Nazi zombies into oblivion.
Call of Duty Black Ops II
The immediate predecessor to Call of Duty Black Ops III is Call of Duty Black Ops II. It was released in 2012 and can be played on Xbox 360, Nintendo, Windows, and Wii systems. The game is notable for its multiple endings and non-linear storyline; in that respect, it is a little bit like a Quentin Tarantino movie, if you were one of the characters brandishing a loaded weapon in a Quentin Tarantino movie. The game features two parallel stories, one set in the 1980s, in the last years of the Cold War, and the other in 2025, at which time there is a new Cold War. The main characters are a father and son who participate in the two Cold Wars.

If you have expressed your excitement to your family about the impending release of Call of Duty Black Ops III, you have probably heard some nay-saying about how first person shooter games are antisocial.
